Voodoo Economics

Voodoo Economics was my band in Portland and Philly from about 2002 to 2009 or so. I spent more time on this band than probably anything else ever (so far). Our old website is gone, and we were pre-streaming, so I don’t think there’s anywhere online you can find this music. Except…HERE!

Songwriting, synths, guitar, Rhodes and vocals are mostly me (except when it's a dude). If you don’t like something, move on. The next track will sound really different. I think if we’d picked a sound and stuck with it, we mighta had somethin’, but it was way more fun to take the top off the blender, turn it on, and see what the walls looked like.

xoo to Justin Gibbon (drums, synths, Klang, the best all-around at 6 in the morning) and Jeremy Prouty (bass, vocals, concept album masterminding, all-time most zestful partner in crime).

Dance, electro, funk, prog, jazz fusion, post-punk circus music, made in Philly during the age when "hipster" wasn't an insult.
